November 12th, 2012: Night #4

On the only night that I want to go to bed early, I can't. I have to register for classes for next semester tonight and I am not excited. I wish that it would magically just be done and I won't have to worry about it anymore. The good news is that I am a junior this year and hopefully I get into my classes easier that in the years past!!! Woot-woot!! I am so much closer to being done than I feel like I am, and yet my graduation is still so far away. Also recently I have been having an identity crisis of late: I don't know if I want to teach history to high schoolers anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love history, I just don't know if I want it to teach it. So I have been looking into what else I could do with a history degree and my options are: lawyer, journalist, or work at a museum. I hate English, so journalism is out, but I would LOVE to spend my days wondering around the Smithsonian or the British Museum, just reading the interesting facts and maybe finding so of my own facts to contribute to the museum in question. As for the lawyer thing, that would be pretty sweet too. I would get to help people out and maybe even run for office one day! I could rule the world as a lawyer! But it is a lot of work that I don;t know if I am ready to take on or not. Anyway, I just need to find what I like the best and go with it!

September 10, 2012: Night #2

Yes I know that it is only 9pm but I have been wanting to burst all day long! As the presidential elections near, everyone is going completely bat-shit crazy. I don't care who's side you are on, stop harassing those around you with Anit-Dem/Rep crap. It is so unprofessional, and frankly, when I see that it is an intentional post bad mouthing whatever side you do not agree with, I won't read it, watch it, or even think about it in the days to come. It is unimportant. What is important are how things will work when the office is held, and frankly, neither side can do a decent job when they only have four years. You can't measure how well the president has done when he isn't given enough time for improvement. I think that they set it up that way on purpose so that the sides will always fight each other and nothing will ever get done to help the common good, instead the "aristocrats" of our day sit back, take our tax money and watch every four years as their peons fight, tooth and nail, to elect their leader. So stop saying Obama isn't a citizen, stop calling Romney a Satanist (also don't just vote for him because he's a Mormon, please read his platform!!! Actually that goes for both side: it is ALWAYS better to be educated and informed!), and lets talk civil to each other, other wise I will hate you for as long as I know you!

August 22, 2012: Night #1

It's 1:30 am and I am no where near sleepy. As the school year starts that is hopefully to change, but I doubt it. My whole family is full of Insomniacs and so we sleep mainly during the day, taking naps. Why they ever took away nap time in school is beyond me!! How do most people function without them. This is usually my train of thought when I remember that I am the abnormal one that doesn't sleep at night and stays up watching episodes of CHUCK or other TV series or movies that I can never get enough of. So I was thinking, what better way to waste my time than with a blog about how I'm going to waste my time when i can't sleep?! So I welcome all of you to my Diary or sorts. This blog will be full of random crap so, fasten your seat belts, and hold onto your butts cuz it's going to be a bumpy ride!
